Practice Test 4 for Story (A1) level – English

This Story (A1) level test consists of 15 multiple-choice questions. The allotted time is 30 minutes.

Topic: The Grasshopper and the Ants.

Jimmy, the merry grasshopper, learns the importance of hard work and preparedness.

Task: Look at the pictures, read the text, and answer the questions.

This test is suitable for students in grades III-IV, studying at A1 level (CEFR). At this level, candidates can recognise words, signs, and names in simple, short displays based on a story accompanied by images. They can answer short and simple questions and can follow simple instructions. They can find information about places and times in a simple, illustrated text.
